Emergency Movie: Kangana Ranaut revealed a glimpse of her next upcoming film titled Emergency. Her last released movie was Dhaakad which is a flop. The actress successfully impersonates former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi’s appearance and accent in the video she released. This movie is directed by Kangana Ranaut herself for the second time after Manikarnika. It is based on the life of former late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.

The film is set to release in 2023. The first look of the movie was posted by Kangana Ranaut with presenting ‘Her’who was called ‘Sir’. She is portraying one of the most powerful and controversial women in the history of the world. Emergency movie screenplay and dialogues are written by Ritesh Shah. It is produced by Renu Pitti & Kangana Ranaut under the banner of Manikarnika Films.

The movie is based on the life of Indira Gandhi. The first look of the film starts with a man attending a phone call, he soon walks towards a huge office. A woman can be seen standing in the hall looking at some files. The man asks her the President of the US wanted to know if they can address her as ‘Madam’.

Then we get to see Kangana as Indira Gandhi. Kangana is completely looking like Indira Gandhi and also her voice is the same. She says, “Tell the American president that everyone in my office addresses me as Sir, not Madam).” Interestingly, Kangana seems to have worked on her voice modulation to make it sound like Indira Gandhi. It is based on true events that unfolded in 1975. The film chronicles incidents that took place under the leadership of Indira Gandhi.

Emergency movie cast features Kangana Ranaut, Anupam Kher, Shreyas Talpade, Bhumika Chawla, and Satish Kaushik among others. The music of the movie is given by G.V.Prakash Kumar and the lyrics are written by Manoj Muntashir.
