Shershaah is an upcoming Hindi language movie based on war. Shershaah cast starring Sidharth Malhotra, Kiara Advani in the lead roles. The movie is set to release on 12 August 2021 on Amazon Prime Video. The film is set on the Kargil War of 1999 and is based on the Indian Army Officer Capt. Vikram Batra. His courage remains eternal and his memory indelible in the Indian psyche. His contributions count as blessings in India’s win over the enemy.
He was awarded the Param Vir Chakra, India’s highest and most prestigious award for valour, for his actions during the 1999 Kargil War. He led one of the toughest operations in mountain warfare in Indian history. He was also known by the name of Shershaah.
The film was written by Sandeep Srivastava and directed by Vishnu Varadhan. Shershaah movie is produced jointly by Dharma Productions and Kaash Entertainment.
