Yesterday Mx Player dropped the teaser of their upcoming web series Chhatrasal. Chhatrasal is a Hindi Language historic drama web series directed by Anadii Chaturvedi. The trailer of the web series will be launched tomorrow on 21 July 2021. The web series starring Jitin Gulati in the main role, and Ashutosh Rana portraying the role of Aurangzeb. Chhatrasal web series is set to release on 29 July 2021 on the Mx Player app. The web series is available for streaming free on Mx Player App.
The story of the web series is set in the 17th Century. It is the story of this unsung Bundela warrior king that MX Player brings to viewers with Chhatrasal. Apart from Jitin Gulati,, Neena Gupta and Ashutosh Rana, the series will also feature Manish Wadhwa, Anushka Luhar, Rudra Soni, Jaswinder Gardner, Piyali Munsi, Amit Lekhwani, Vaibhavi Shandilya in important roles.
Story
Chhatrasal is the first historical epic based on the life of the unsung warrior King Chhatrasal of Bundelkhand. Its story goes back to 16th century India when the Mughal empire was expanding under the leadership of tyrant Aurangzeb, who mounted towards Delhi and dethroned his father Shahjahan, declaring himself “Alamgir Aurangzeb”, which means ‘conqueror of the world’. Around the same time in Bundelkhand, it was predicted that a child will be born who would free his people and bring them back to their motherland. That child was Chhatrasal. He was a hero from medieval India who never lost any battle against the Mughals.
