Mastram web series based in the 80’s. A small-town bank clerk who dreams of becoming a reputed writer. He leaves his job to become a full-time writer, but cannot find a publisher for his book. One publisher agrees only if he would add sensational elements or masala to his dull tale. He adopts the pseudonym of Mastram and churns out his publicly taboo novel series, which becomes the best selling book. He gets successful however all credits are attributed to Mastram.
There is one story that we may or may not be aware of which is that of Mastram, the quintessential writer of this era who spoke the lingo of the Hindi heartland – literally!
One teacher and many lessons – his stories were the only guide required to graduate from boys to men. His stimulating books served as the wings to every boy’s imagination and fantasies.
